After successfully completing their DUT, students may opt for the third year of one of the professionally-oriented Bachelors of Science in Chemistry available at the department. Our third-year programmes offer a wide variety of courses and electives in chemistry that students may choose from :

    • Entry requirements : this programme is designed to accommodate students who have successfully completed a primary higher education degree in chemistry, biochemistry or packaging science.
    • Duration : 1 academic year
    • Schedule : Full-time or Apprenticeship (sandwich degree)
    • Compulsory 4- to 5-month work placement in industry

    Students are expected to choose one elective from the list below :

    • Advanced course in instrumental analytical chemistry, method validation, quality control
    • Advanced course in organic synthesis
    • Advanced course in quality management

    • Entry requirements : this programme is designed to accommodate students who have successfully completed a primary higher education degree in chemistry, biochemistry or packaging science.
    • Duration : 12 months
    • Schedule : Apprenticeship (sandwich degree)
    • Compulsory 7-month work placement in industry (students are full-time employees) divided into 3 periods
    • Intensive 5-month course at the department of Chemistry
